Thai XVII trained for their Peace Corps service in Hilo and the Philippines.  The volunteers of Group XVII arrived in Thailand in 1966 and served from 1966 to 1968.  Thai XVII consisted of 23 volunteers who served in the Malaria Eradication program area.
