Thai 36 trained for their Peace Corps service at Banglamung. The volunteers of Group 36 arrived in Thailand in 1971 and served from 1971 to 1973. Thai 36 consisted of 23 volunteers who served in the TEFL, Vocational Agriculture, Vocational Education, and Land Development program areas.
