Thai 65 trained for their Peace Corps service at Nakorn Nayok and Nakorn Pathom. The volunteers of Group 65 arrived in Thailand in 1979 and served from 1979 to 1981. Thai 65 consisted of 31 volunteers who served in the Water Resources, Secondary TEFL, Teacher Training College TEFL, University TEFL, Librarian, Adult Education, and Medical Technology program areas.
